so, what's up with the new profile pages? then i looked at my announcements and "oh, okay".

i'm sure liz can fill me in later on what's so special and super-fantastic about this RADICAL change.
most people i've seen like/don't care about the seemingly minor change (from what i've seen). yippee.

really anyone complaining about it, just go break your spine now. although i'm sure it's greatly affecting your lives. you must now learn to press a different series of buttons than before. how taxing and inconvenient and not EXACTLY what you did when you joined DA.

ranting because i'm hungry. but at least a bit of my bad luck has been shined upon by something magical. i doubt the curse is entirely lifted, but something good happened today, so hope, guys? HOPE?

p.s.--i missed inauguration cause i was in a meeting with the head of SAS. i say this because i hate SAS and most UNCG administration--Jenny and that nice lady at the registar not included.
p.p.s.--classes are going to kick my ass. no laptop. ever. distraction.

i'll be 20 soon. WEIRD.

also, i got a Twitter, recently (today). as i am an addict now, i must highly recommend it. my username is FeoplePeel.

listen to Steven Wright. he's funny enough to interrupt my sex life, apparently. in related news, don't leave Comedy Central on the television if you plan to have sexual relations said night.

Won't you make it easy? I've got to erase all the pain. They say it's behind me, but it keeps coming back. But if you knew, my love, then you would see, my love. Never meant to interfere with all your plans. And if you cannot see, why don't you come for me?

I don't wanna think. I just want my man.

there. because i was told writing how i felt would help me and since i wouldn't write that anywhere but mr. micro word, i figure ms. McKay can cover the basics.

it makes sense to me and that's ALL that matters.

on a lighter note, the recommendation of this week is the movie, Revolver. for one, it's directed by Guy Richie ('Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' and 'Snatch'. two, and not oddly, in relation to one, it involves a lot of the same elements you'll find in his other films, with a psychological twist (if you haven't seen those, i recommend them before Revolver, no competition).

p.s.-i also recommend boy's pajama bottoms. i'm sure i've always liked them, but recently i've gotten very intimate with their kind and they're amazing on many levels.
p.p.s.--remember to always wipe front to back, girls, and never fold your toilet paper. i'd hate to promote yeast infection.

deviance is not a crime, it's a way of life

in case not all of you were informed (you were not), i did something pretty odd and kinky when i was drunk on december the 9th. odd and kinky enough to remember the date (by rhyme--remember, remember, the 9th of december) and be in some sort of odd relationship that, by most conventional means, is not a relationship with TWO people. jump to your own conclusions. if it's hot n'wild, you're probably right. if not, i'm still happy to be a part of whatever fantasy you've placed me in.

my opinion of it? well, i'm just dandy. and randy. a "gypsy" according to some. hopefully this will give a SNIPPET of my feelings. since i never post anything, i hope you enjoy this little bit from a story i'm writing based on the (obviously) true happenings of my friends and myself. shit gets JUST real enough to write about--see what i mean?

p.s.-go easy on me, i wrote it in, like, 30 minutes. excuses, excuses, blah blah blah.
p.p.s.-hell yes i used real names. they'll deal, el oh el.

Deviance: the opposite of conformity

"I don’t know if I agree with it," she finished dragging the comb through her friend's hair, if a little more harshly than necessary, "but it’s your life so you'll do what you want, anyway. Besides, you’re happy."

"Even if it is a little wrong?" Her roommate took the comb before any further damage could be inflicted upon her newly-dyed locks.

Michelle scoffed, "Oh, it's definitely wrong. Well, abnormal, in any case."

"Deviance is not a crime, Michelle, it's a way of life. My way of life, now. A life of what we, or at least I, have come to see as a sort of...functionalism." A happy smile danced across her face, "We, Pam and Robert and I, are functionalism at it's very core, dear. Some sort of deviance that is, that is," she passed her hands through the air in a searching manner, "rebellion. Would it not excite you, too?"

After a moment, Michelle allowed a small smile, to match her friend's. "Yeah, I guess so. I mean, we're all a little rebellious sometimes, right?"

Brittany threw her arms around her friend, pressing her nose against her forehead in full silliness, "Where's the fun in compliance?" she laughed out.
